"How To Live"
be poor in spirit
mourn
be meek
hunger and thirst for righteousness
be merciful
be pure in heart
be a peacemaker
rejoice when they persecute you and insult you bc of Him
be salt that is salty. ha!
let your light shine before men
practice and teach Jesus' commands
be reconciled with your brother before you offer your gifts to Him
have no lustful eyes
let your yes be yes and your no be no
give to the one who asks
do not resist an evil person
love your enemies
pray for those who persecute you
be perfect like your Father in heaven
let your acts of righteousness be hidden from others
pray in secret
forgive others
don't let your fast be obvious to others
do not store on earth but in heaven
have good eyes = eyes full of light = eyes fixed on Jesus
serve only God
do not worry about life or tomorrow
seek His kingdom and righteousness first
do not judge
don't give dogs what is sacred
ask, seek and knock
do to others what you would have them do to you
enter through the narrow gate and stay on the narrow road
discern false prophets
do His will
put into practice all of the above teachings
Obey not out of legalism, but out of love.
